On Tuesday, January 31, 2017, members of Oswego County's Fire and Iron Station 1438 Motorcycle Club met at the New Haven Fire Department to present a check to Friends of Oswego County Hospice. Fire and Iron proudly presented a $500.00 donation to Debbie Bishop, Executive Director of Friends of Oswego County Hospice, in memory of the late Barbara S. Wilcox of New Haven.

The reason for the donation? Recognizing and helping those that help our community so much!

Barb was not only a wonderful friend and supporter of Fire and Iron and the mother of one of it's members, but she was a supporter of the biker community in general; she was an honorary member of the Oswego County Comets Riding Club; she supported the New Haven community specifically and anyone that found themselves in need of a helping hand.

Oswego County Hospice was there when Barb and her family needed them the most just before her passing on Thanksgiving Day, 2016, just as Barb was always there for anyone who needed her.

Fire and Iron happily gave a token of their appreciation in Barb's name for all that Hospice has done, and continues to do daily, in service to our community. Thank you to the Wilcox family and Friends of Oswego County Hospice for being there as a woman that will never be forgotten and will always be missed was honored.
