SUNY Oswego University Police officers received a warm thank you from the man whose life they saved during the Harborfest 10k run.

Conrad Law suddenly collapsed from a heart attack while running the race this July. Officers Thomas Woodruff, Evan Proulx and Dan McCarthy rushed to Law’s side to save his life. Through their many years of expertise, they were able to get Law’s heart to start beating again.

Law expressed his sincerest gratitude during the visit. His wife, Knyoca Law, and daughter, Stephanie Talamo, accompanied Law during his visit.

University Police has been protecting and saving lives of both students, professors and staff on campus as well as visitors and community members of Oswego.
