Write a commentMargaret "Maggie" Kazlo, 73, of Oswego, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, in University Hospital, Syracuse.
Ms. Kazlo was born in Witherbee, N.Y., a daughter of Theresa Montagnola of Moriah, N.Y., and the late Joseph Kazlo. She was a resident of Syracuse, where she worked until her retirement as a claims adjuster for Granger Insurance. She later moved to Oswego in 2001.
Ms. Kazlo enjoyed volunteering at the Oswego Hospital.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Gavin Goodbread, of North Carolina, and Dana Goodbread, of New Mexico; her siblings, Helen Montagnola and Joseph (Anne Marie) Montagnola, both of Port Henry, N.Y., Catherine Kazlo, of Hudson, N.Y., Martha Montagnola, of Saranac Lake, Stephen (Becky) Montagnola, of Oswego, Michelle Callaghan, of Raybrook, N.Y.; and one grandchild.
She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Kazlo.
Funeral services and burial will be held privately in Port Henry.
Arrangements are in the care of the Sugar and Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
