She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late DeForest and Rosamond Lyke Bristol.
Mrs. Stachhowicz was the widow of the late Jan Stachowicz.
Margaret was the Owner of Stone’s Candy Shop in Oswego for many years until her retirement.
She was a long time Communicant of St. Stephen’s Church.
Mrs. Stachowicz is survived by her son, Donald Regan of Oswego, her daughter Rosemarie, two sisters Sally Flack and Mary Lou Doud, both of Oswego, one granddaughter Mellisa Fitzgerald, of Oswego, three great grandchildren, Hunter Platt, Riley Fitzgerald, Chloe Fiyzgerald, four stepchildren, Anthony Stachowicz, Georgette Stachowicz, Michael Stachowicz, Edward Stachowicz and several step grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by one sister Edna LeBouef.
Calling hours Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 4-6 PM with a service to follow at 6PM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Burial will be private.
