Born in Pembroke, Ontario, She was the daughter of the late Robert and Marion (McDougall) Hewitt. She was a homemaker and enjoyed designing and creating crafts.
Surviving is her brother, Graham Hewitt of N. Bay, Ontario; numerous nieces and nephews including her special niece, Cathy (Rodney) Lance of Chalk River, Ontario.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Salvadore and four brothers.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Roger Martin officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 10-11 a.m. prior to the service, at the funeral home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
