Write a commentMarie F. Henderson, 99, a resident of Oswego passed away on December 17 at the Pontiac Care and Rehab Center.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Lily (Lane) Sheridan and was a graduate of the Oswego High School. She was employed as a supervisor for General Electric for twenty years. She was a member of Aurora of CNY. She loved to paint and traveled to Mexico, Israel, Canada and throughout the United States after her retirement.
Surviving are her daughter, Bette Paice of Red Creek, two sons, Spencer Henderson of Oswego, David Henderson of Oswego, ten grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Spencer Henderson, a son, Richard Henderson, three brothers, Alfred "Okie" Sheridan, Jack Sheridan, Richard Sheridan and two sisters, Nonie Sweeting and Hilda Ryan.
Marie was a wonderful mother and her passion was her family.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
