Mary was the daughter of the late James and Agnes (Wise) Driscoll. Mary was a homemaker and later worked at Wayne’s Drugs.
On October 5, 1946 She was married to James J. McGiff. Together they had 4 children, Mary Colleen Sweeney, James (Eileen) McGiff; Susan (Stephen, Jr.) Gioia; Julie (James) Porter.
She was also the proud grandmother to Brian, Amy and Adam Sweeney, Jessica (Nat) Drapiza, Matt (Jessica) McGiff and Stephen and Stacy Gioia. She also had 3 great- grandchildren Griffin and Madeline Drapiza and James (Jimi) McGiff. She was also survived by her “precious boy” Spuds, her cat.
She was predeceased by her parents and her beloved brother, James (Kip) Driscoll who gave his life in World War II. Also a son-in-law, Donald V. Sweeney, Jr.
There are no calling hours.
A Funeral Mass will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 6th at St. Paul’s Church. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery.
