Write a commentMary E. Bond, 85 of Oswego passed away Saturday at St. Luke Health Services, Inc.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Harold and Marie Doran Bond. Miss Bond was retired after being employed for many years with the Oswego City Savings Bank. She had also worked at Fay's Drug Co. in Oswego. She was a lifelong, active member of the West Baptist Church. Mary was known for her sense of humor, generosity, and kind nature.
She is survived by her brother John Bond of Oswego, five nieces; Susan Bond and Terri Lee Dean of Syracuse, Carolyn Thompson and Sharon Bonacorsi of Oswego, and Cathy Coleman of Montgomery, two nephews; Robert Bond of Hopatcong, NJ and Marc Bond of Montgomery, two sisters-in-law Elaine Bond and Mary Bond, widow of the late Robert Bond.
She was predeceased by her brother Robert and an aunt, Ethel Wells.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
The family is planning a spring graveside service.
Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
