Write a commentFormer Syracuse resident Ermine Cunningham will be in town to launch her new book and is inviting everyone to Seven Acres Alpaca Farm on September 18th for a “Meet the Author” (and the Alpaca) afternoon of conversation and goodies.
Ermine postponed her longtime fantasy of “Humor Writing with a Message: for the dream job of teaching English to children from all over the world. Now retired she recently moved from Central New York to Greeley, Colorado to be near her daughter and grand dogs. But she’s coming back in September with her new book in hand and is inviting the public to a very special book launch from 3 pm – 5 pm at Seven Acres Alpaca Farm in Phoenix, NY.
Come sit under the shade of the Maple Tree, enjoy the afternoon breeze, mingle among the beautiful alpaca, and listen as Ermine shares the story of Rose and Vera as they take up the assignment of a lifetime to Save Mother Earth. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and hopefully come away with a renewed determination to do your part in slowing our environmental crisis.
Oh, and Ermine reminds us that her first book, Pretend You Know What your Doing: My Voyage from Teacher to Humor Writer is also available on Amazon.com or from the leftover stack in her closet. Just ask! She’ll have copies with her!
This special event is free. Just bring a comfy lawn chair, sit back and enjoy a wonderful moment with Ermine (and the alpacas of course).
