Nan AuClair, 87, of Oswego, died July 1, 2017, at St. Luke’s Health Services.
Born in Oswego, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Thelma (Horr) Shurr.
She graduated from Oswego High School in 1947. She graduated Syracuse University in 1964 where she received her B.S. degree in Public Health Nursing.
Nan worked as the school nurse teacher at the Oswego High School for 26 years until she retired in 1990.
She belonged to the NYSR Teachers Association and a member of the R.S.V.P.
She was pre-deceased by James (Sharky) AuClair and her great-grandchild Mikayla Murphy.
Surviving are her daughter Jane M. (Timothy) Murphy of Oswego; her sons Neil AuClair of Tampa, FL, Mark (B.J.) AuClair of Oswego; her sister, Thelma Jayne Brady of Laurencesville, Ga; grandchildren, Shawn Murphy, Brian Murphy, Erin Jozwiak, Bradley AuClair, and Jason AuClair; great-grandchildren, Owen and Savannah Jozwiak.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, 4-7 pm at the Nelson Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 10 am at the Nelson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
