The Oswego County Legislature elected District 17 Legislator Shane Broadwell as Chairman of the Legislature at its organizational meeting Jan. 4. Broadwell has represented portions of the city of Oswego and town of Scriba on the Legislature since 2012. He served as chairman of the Legislature’s Finance and Personnel Committee and as legislature majority leader in 2017.
The Students, Staff and Home and School Organization of Kingsford Park School pulled together again this year, with gifts of several generous donors, to provide a happy holiday for over 40 families in need, as part of the annual Kingsford Park Holiday Giving Project.
While many people have heard of that saying, the students and staff members at Lanigan Elementary School have lived it each day of the 2017-2018 school year. Kindness, along with inclusion, acceptance and self-love have spread like wildfire throughout the school as a culture of compassion has been embraced by all Lanigan Eagles.
