Kingsford Park Elementary School honored Oswego City Police Department Officer Thomas Grover at its recent Citizenship Awards, with the entire student body pitching in to thank him for the “opportunity to have Officer Grover be part of our lives.”

The Oswego County Legislature elected District 17 Legislator Shane Broadwell as Chairman of the Legislature at its organizational meeting Jan. 4. Broadwell has represented portions of the city of Oswego and town of Scriba on the Legislature since 2012. He served as chairman of the Legislature’s Finance and Personnel Committee and as legislature majority leader in 2017.
The Students, Staff and Home and School Organization of Kingsford Park School pulled together again this year, with gifts of several generous donors, to provide a happy holiday for over 40 families in need, as part of the annual Kingsford Park Holiday Giving Project.
