A public rally to support a process leading to national landmark status for two key Oswego heritage sites will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center. The rally is part of a community effort to have Fort Ontario State Historic Site and the Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Shelter Museum elevated to National Monument status and into the National Park Service.
