Fun Size
Starring: Victoria Justice, Jane Levy, Chelsea Handler and Thomas Mann
Fun Size gets down to the job of nabbing its plot fromAdventures in Babysitting and Superbad as Justice's Wren loses her younger brother Albert (Jackson Nicoll) amidst the town-wide Halloween celebrations and must rescue him before their mother finds out. There are some very sweet moments in this film for Victoria and Chelsea Handler but if you don't have a bunch of kids to take to this movie, you won't really be able to enjoy it.

But it's the feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade. Cloud Atlas
Starring: Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugh Grant and Susan Sarandon
If you are a Tom Hanks fan (I am), you will most likely make it through the entire movie feeling it wasn't an entire waste of your money. Cloud Atlas takes place over 6 different time periods and stories (from the year 1849 through 2215) and the cast remains the same throughout, just changing names and charachters. So as not to give anything away for those who have not seen it, suffice it to say that Tom is Dr. Henry Goose in 1849 with a cure for a parasitic worm eating Adam Ewing's (played by Jim Broadbent) brain. In 1936; Jim Broadbent plays a composer who is then seduced, screwed and left by a penniless upstart (Ben Wishaw) who claims the composers masterpiece as his own. 1970: Halle Berry is an investigative reporter on a story about nuclear disaster cover-up and now finds herself a target. 2012 finds a book editor (played by Broadbent) tricked into being committed to an institution that has it's own problems. In 2140 a drone (played by Barry breaks away from the life she was created for to become a revolutionary. A few centuries later the stroies come together (sort of) as Hanks tells a campfire story wrap things up but you are left with more questions then were answered..
Rated R for violence, language, sexuality/nudity and some drug use. Written and directed by by Tom Twyker, Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski (of Matrix fame). Could Atlas is 2 hours, 47 minutes long. Distributed by Warner Bros.
Starring: Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, Alan Arkin
This is a dramatization of the very real events of the 1980 joint CIA-Candian secret operation to extract six fugitive American diplomatic personnel out of revolutionary Iran.
In 1979, the American embassy in Iran was invaded by Iranian revolutionaries and several Americans are taken hostage. However, six manage to escape to the official residence of the Canadian Ambassador and the CIA is eventually ordered to get them out of the country. With few options, exfiltration expert Tony Mendez devises a daring plan: to create a phony Canadian film project looking to shoot in Iran and smuggle the Americans out as its production crew. With the help of some trusted Hollywood contacts, Mendez creates the ruse and proceeds to Iran as its associate producer. However, time is running out with the Iranian security forces closing in on the truth while both his charges and the White House have grave doubts about the operation themselves. ARGO is getting great reviews from everyone. It's a GREAT date movie and it's sure to impress!
Rated R for language and some violent images. Directed by Ben Affleck with a screenplay by Chris Terrio (from an article by Joshuah Bearman), Argo is two hours long and distributed by Warner Bros.
