Write a commentOswego Children's Theater will be hosting auditions for their annual teen production on Tuesday January 26th from 5:30 until 7:30 pm at the home of Mosher Family located at 151 East Seneca Street, in Oswego.
Auditions are open to all area youth aged 13 through 19 years of age. The actual play to be performed will depend the number of people auditioning for the production. Information is available by calling 342-5265 or 529-1009 or emailing [email protected].
The production is slated to be performed at The Michael J. Harms Theater Festival on the Auburn Campus of Cayuga Community College, on April 9th, and will also be performed locally at a date to be announced.
This will be the sixth year that Oswego Children's Theater has participated in this event. Last year, the organization won an award for Best Performance by a Community Theater group as well as several individual awards.
The Michael J. Harms Theater Festival is an annual event sponsored by CNY ARTS providing a rare opportunity for teenagers to display their outstanding acting and technical achievement in front of their peers and professional theater practitioners.
Lyndsie Lee Jones will direct this production assisted by Wayne and Kelly Mosher.
