Write a commentThe Oswego Firefighter's Association invites the public to join them for a night of entertainment at the annual "Firefighter's Ball". This popular annual event will be held on Friday April 10, 2015 at the American Foundry. Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities.
The Oswego Firefighter's Association donates thousands of dollars each year to local non-profit agencies in Oswego, as well as supporting several fundraising ventures in the community.
Highly touted local band "The Billionaires" will be performing at the event. Things get started at 6:00pm with cocktails, with dinner stations opening at 6:30pm.
Tickets are $30 / per person and can be purchased by calling (315) 343-2161. Ordering deadline is March 30th, so get your tickets ordered soon!
Attire is semiformal. The Oswego County Federal Credit Union will be a sponsor of this event.
"This is a great opportunity for the public to meet and interact with their firefighters outside of an emergency setting", said Oswego Firefighter's Association president John Geraci. "For $30, people are getting a nice meal at a great venue, entertainment, while doing something for the community as a whole", Geraci said.
