For the very first time, Oswego Speedway's Canale Insurance 2-Seat Supermodified will leave the gates of the 'Steel Palace' and head to the smaller confines of Star Speedway.

In preparation for round three of the Supermodified Triple Crown, which is comprised of the Hy-Miler Sandusky Speedway Classic – the Budweiser International Classic at Oswego Speedway – and the Star Speedway Classic, the 2-Seat Supermodified will take to the Star oval for a limited number of winged rides Friday, Sept. 6, and Saturday, Sept. 7.
Even more impressive than taking winged laps around one of New Englands most historic ovals in an 800-hp Supermodified, is the commitment of the drivers that will handle the driving duties.
     Chris Perley and Russ Wood.
Perley and Wood have combined for a total of 12 Star Classic victories including the last five consecutive with Perley driving to victory lane from 2008-2010 and Wood the last two years in a row.
With two of Supermodified racing's most iconic names behind the wheel, fans will not want to miss this opportunity for the ride of a lifetime at Star Speedway Sept. 6 and 7.
