Write a commentOswego Harborfest is accepting applications for a variety of areas. The 29th edition of the annual music festival is scheduled for July 28-31, 2016.
Harborfest is known for music and the spectacular Grucci fireworks, but it is much more than that with a variety of food, multiple vendors and commercial endeavors as well as the “Pride of New York” treats and drinks.
Applications for the 2016 festival are currently available at the Oswego Harborfest offices at 41 Lake Street in Oswego and on line at www.oswegoharborfest.com.
Cindy Loughrey is in charge of gathering the businesses, vendors and food and is excited about the aspects of Oswego Harborfest.
She said, “Last year we had a wide variety of food concessions and vendors along with businesses and arts and crafts. We really hope to expand even more this year. There are plans underway that will excite not only all of the vendors involved, but also festival goers.
Loughrey said, “We really hope to enhance and expand our ‘Pride of New York’ area. We are so excited over the products that are produced not only in Oswego County, but throughout the State of New York especially right here in Central New York.”
Not only is there a desire to have food vendors, commercial businesses and “Pride of New York” applicants, but it is also time for artisans and crafts folks to apply for participating.
All applications are available on line at oswegoharborfest.com, at the offices at 41 Lake Street in Oswego or further information can be obtained by calling 342-7113 Monday thru Thursday.
Oswego Harborfest is one of the largest continuing free music festivals in the United States and is supported by Central New York corporations, businesses and individuals.
