Director Sherri Lynn Metz has chosen Woody Allen's very funny farce, "Don't Drink the Water" for the Oswego Players 75th Anniversary Season September showing.

It is typical Woody humor and fast-paced with plenty of confusion and laughs. She has assembled a fine cast, well up to the craziness of the material.
DDTWBrian PringleBrian Pringle (Father Drobney) has an impressive theater resume and may be remembered from 2007s "Born Yesterday" when he played "the heavy," Harry Brock. He is currently looking forward to the fall semester at Cayuga Community College, where he will be teaching an Introduction to Theater course.
Along with teaching, he keeps busy with his participation in Sterling's "Screamers Hollow" event and the "Dickens' Christmas" in DDTEWJoannie ASkaneateles.
Also in the cast is newcomer Joannie Anderson. She was born in Oswego County, but attended high school in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Anderson returned to the area to study musical theater at SUNY Oswego. She is just coming off a chorus role in the last Players' show, "Mame" and has performed in a number of college productions including "Cabaret," "Into the Woods" and "Much Ado About Nothing." She has also performed in several student film projects, including the web series, "Conquest!" With all this performing she still has some time for her hobbies which include drawing, dancing, special effects makeup and studying foreign languages.
Other cast members include, Knate Roy, Chris Metz, Sherri Baker, Nelson Metz, Jennifer Snow, Juan Lamanna and Julia Dighe.
The show is scheduled for production Sept.13, 14, 20, 21 and 22. The show's stage manager is Brie McIntosh. The Players are grateful for the support from Pathfinder Bank toward the Oswego Players' 75th season productions. For more information, visit the Oswego Players website at www.oswegoplayers.org.
