Robert (Bob) Orrin Kiesinger, was born on August 27, 1952, in Oswego, New York, and passed away on July 3, 2026.

No matter where life took him, Oswego County was always home—the place where his family, faith, friendships, and memories were rooted.

A graduate of Mexico High School, many of Bob's favorite memories were shaped by school spirit, sports, student government, plays, and the friendships he made there. He often looked back on those years with a smile, remembering the laughter, adventures, and the ways he kept his teachers on their toes as a proud class clown always looking for the next laugh. That same sense of humor stayed with him throughout his life, carried through his stories, jokes, and the joy he brought to those around him. Those roots stayed with him as he built a career, raised his family, and remained deeply connected to the community he loved.

He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War era, carrying with him a lifelong love for his country, respect for those who served, and a deep appreciation for the opportunities he was given.

Throughout his career, Bob found purpose in helping others. His work in employment services became a true passion. He served as Regional Manager with StafKings Employment Agency for over a decade, helping people find meaningful work and taking pride in seeing the moment they held a paycheck knowing they could provide for their families.

He also worked alongside family at Will & Baumer, Emkay Candles, and Abbey Brand, later serving at Oswego Industries and Catholic Charities. Across each role, he was known for encouraging others, building connections, and making people feel valued. In his work with Catholic Charities, he especially enjoyed helping people get where they needed to go while giving them opportunities to socialize, connect, and share their stories.

His faith guided him throughout his life. Over the years, he found a church home at First Baptist Church of Mexico, Colosse Baptist Church, and the Pulaski Wesleyan Church. He served as a deacon, taught Sunday school, helped with bus ministry and puppet ministry, and was always willing to lend a hand wherever he was needed.

His greatest joy was his family. He shared 40 years of marriage with his wife Jeanne, and loved making her smile through thoughtful gestures, humor, and his own unique style of romance. He was a devoted father and grandfather who always showed up for the people he loved.

Known for his storytelling, humor, and ability to connect with almost anyone, Bob brought laughter and warmth wherever he went. Whether sharing a story, dressing up to entertain, or simply taking part in a conversation about anything, he had a way of making people feel valued, included, and important.

He is now reunited with those who helped shape his life, including his parents, Frank and Florence (Flossy) Kiesinger; and his siblings and in laws, Fred (Connie) Kiesinger, Helen (Joe) O'Neil and Pearl (Bob) Clark; and other cherished loved ones who went before him.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jeanne (Ruspantini); his son and his daughter in-law Sam and Margaret Kingsport and grandchildren Wesley and Elliot; his daughter and his son in-law Sara and Ryan Steinberg and grandchildren Ellie, Dylan and Logan, and his unborn grandchild, Owen, who was already loved and cherished; and his adopted son, Jeff Fedder; along with extended family, friends, and the many people whose lives he touched.

His legacy is one of faith, family, kindness, hard work, humor, and a lifetime of reminding others that they mattered.

Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday July 27th at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street Pulaski with a service immediately following at 1p.m. A reception will be held after the service at Ontario Shores.
