Robin R. Emond, 64, a resident of Oswego, NY, passed away on Sunday, July 5th, 2026.
Born in Massena, NY, he was the son of the late Reginald and Nancy (Eggleston) Emond, and was a graduate of Mexico High School.
Prior to his retirement, he was an employee of the Oswego City School District for more than 25 years.
He was the most loving, devoted, and supportive husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He loved his family more than anything. Anyone that knew him knew he was always quick with a joke or witty remark. His sense of humor brought happiness and smiles to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, and although it had been some time since he was able to enjoy his hobbies, he always loved woodworking and working outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Betty (Geers) Emond; his daughter, Theresa (Matt) Salvador; his son, Christopher Emond; his grandchildren, Sawyer and Wyatt Salvador; several nieces and nephews; as well as two brothers and a sister. He was predeceased by his brother, Stephen Emond; and his brother-in-law, Lawrence Miller.
In honor of his wishes there will be no funeral services. A Celebration of Life will take place at GS Steamers Restaurant, Oswego, NY, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 5-8 pm. Please stop by and help us celebrate Rob’s life.
Rob loved kids, and always made sure his family and children were provided for. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to The Children’s Board of Oswego, PO Box 373, Oswego, NY.
Arrangements are in the care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego.
