Rock Teal You Drop was organized to create awareness of the ongoing epidemic of ovarian cancer that effects over 22,000 women in the U.S, every year. The benefit will feature three bands along with raffles, door prizes and an acoustic guitar giveaway. Teal is the color that represents ovarian cancer awareness and rock is what you’re going to get on Saturday, October 5th.Starting out the night will be the reunion of veteran classic rockers, DOCTOR BOOGIE, with their diverse selection of classic rock and oldies from 5:30 to 7:00. From 7:30 to 9:00, the energetic 80’s hard rock band, LOOSE CANNON, will hit the stage. Rounding out the night will be the much anticipated reunion of the supremely talented, TEN PENNY, pounding out classic and modern rock from 9:30 to 11:00. As an added bonus, every band will be featuring 2019 Oswego Music Hall of Fame inductee, Dave Wolever. Dave is one of Oswego’s most talented and prolific musicians. He is most recently known for his amazing vocals and incredible guitar work in popular CNY rock band, OFF THE RESERVATION. Dave was also a core member of both Doctor Boogie and Ten Penny throughout both bands life and will be joining Loose Cannon as a fill in guitar player, reuniting him for the first time in over a decade with former members of SIDESHOW, another project that featured Dave Wolever.
Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased presale at A&J Music in Oswego or Cortini Shoes in Fulton, as well as being available at the door. Not only do you get three great bands that night, but you also have a chance to win some very cool door prizes, including items donated by local businesses, band merch and one lucky attendee will walk away with a brand new acoustic guitar. The Oswego Elks Lodge is located at 132 West 5th Street in Oswego, NY and boasts a very large room, perfect for housing a big rock and roll show, like this one.
