The Oswego County Salvation Army Corps will hold its first annual Appreciation Dinner at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, at The American Foundry in Oswego.
The purpose of the event is to recognize the merchants who have hosted Christmas kettles, restaurateurs and organizations that have provided Guest Chef dinners and all others that have supported the work of the Army in Oswego County with their time and resources.
The dinner also celebrates the completion of the first year of operation as a county-wide corps, formed by joining the former corps in Fulton and Oswego.
The chicken barbecue dinner is open to the public. Reservations may be made until Sept.20 by calling 343-6491 between 1-4 p.m.; or 532-0309 and leaving a message.
