Scriba Historical Society Discusses Old Time Recipes at April Meeting

Write a comment

The Scriba Historical Society had a wonderful time at their monthly Roundtable Discussion Meeting in April.

The theme for the meeting was Old Time Recipes. Many old recipes, utensils, cookbooks and tasty treats were shared among those in attendance. The society also tried out a new addition to the Roundtable Discussion. Two members of the society were able to be a part of the gathering via Zoom. They were Sue Gover-Lee of Dallas Texas and Jim Enos of Wichita Kansas. Both members have roots in Scriba and were glad to be able to join in this way. We learned that some of our old Scriba cookbooks are living safely with them far from home!

Stay tuned for what the theme for May 29th @ 1PM will be. You can keep up to date or send theme recommendations by visiting scribahistoricalsociety.org or following on Facebook.
