Write a commentSpencer James Henderson, 71 of Oswego passed away Sunday at his home.
He was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Spencer J. and Marie F. Sheridan Henderson.
Mr. Henderson was educated in Oswego Schools.
He had been employed on various local construction projects as a Laborer, Painter and most recently as a Boilermaker until his retirement.
Spencer was an avid reader and especially enjoyed Stephen King novels.
He was a licensed SCUBA diver.
Mr. Henderson is survived by his daughter Lacey R. Henderson of Oswego, one brother, David H. Henderson of Oswego, one sister Bette Paice of Red Creek, one grandson, Michael Holmes, his dear friend Kathy Donahue and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother Richard J. Henderson.
Family and friends are invited to Spencer’s graveside committal service that will be held at 12Noon, Monday October 23, in Riverside Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
