Local historian Mark Slosek will present "Explore Oswego's East Side Before and After Urban Renewal," an engaging look at how one of Oswego's most historic neighborhoods transformed during the urban renewal era of the 1960s.

Through a collection of rare photographs and images—many taken by his father, former Oswego City Historian Tony Slosek—attendees will see firsthand how streets, businesses, homes, and entire city blocks changed over time.

Slosek, a longtime educator, retired school administrator, and Oswego City Historian, is known for bringing local history to life through compelling storytelling and visual presentations.

The event is free and open to the public, with light refreshments provided. Community members with an interest in Oswego's rich history are encouraged to attend.
