The musical talents of Oswego High School students were on display at the spring choral concert.

The concert choir sang a piece entitled “Letter from a Girl to the World,” which featured spoken dialogue from nine female singers. OHS Director of Choirs Robert Dumas explained that the piece includes scripted statements, but the students instead chose their own personal messages of their hope for a brighter future.

“I want to find the beauty in everything, even in things I’ve been taught are ugly,” said student Sophia Griffiths.

The evening featured several instrumental accompaniments including senior band student Allison Pasco on the flute and piccolo and Oswego High School’s own Principal, Patrick Wallace, on the tuba.

The end of the school year was full of choral and band concerts at each school that showcased the hard work and creativity of Oswego City School District.
