Nick Giampaolo of the Oswego State men's lacrosse team has garnered honorable Mention accolades from the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) for his performance throughout the 2015 season.
Giampaolo appeared and started in all 14 games for the Lakers this season. The Setauket, N.Y. native fueled the Laker offense, leading the team in points (30) and goals (18). The senior also scooped up 35 groundballs, tying him for second most on the squad. The senior had one of his best outings against Plattsburgh, where he nabbed four points on one goal and three assists. In this game, he also became one of only 30 players in program history to reach the 100-point milestone.
This is not the first time Giampaolo has received recognition, as this is the third-straight year he has made All-Conference. The midfielder has also been named SUNYAC Player of the Week on the week ending on April 5, 2015 and was also as the Oswego State Male Athlete of the week for the week March 22, 2015.
