Zonta Club of Oswego Celebrates Annual Scholarship Recipients and Installs 2026–2028 Board

The Zonta Club of Oswego hosted its annual celebration at the Oswego Country Club the evening on May 26th, 2026, marking a night of inspiration, community recognition, and leadership transition.

The event featured the presentation of the organization's annual scholarships and the official installation of its 2026–2028 Board.

The evening was highlighted by moving addresses from the organization's leadership, including outgoing President Kristin LaBarge and President-Elect Alicia King. Adding to the evening's successes, Zonta Area 2 Director Dianne DiMeo was in attendance to present the Z Club of Oswego High School with the prestigious Zonta District 2 Z Club Service Award.

Empowering the Next Generation: 2026 Scholarship Recipients

The Zonta Club of Oswego proudly recognized four exceptional young women for their academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to community service:

  • Yael Hunley – Young Women in Leadership Award
  • Danielle Ciccone – High School Vocational Award
  • Leah Kelly – High School Scholarship
  • Peyton Bond – High School Scholarship

The organization extends its gratitude to the Scholarship Committee, led by Co-Chairs Dorothy Bonney and Holli Stone, for their dedication to reviewing applications and selecting this year's deserving recipients.

Installation of the 2026–2028 Board of Directors

The event concluded with the formal installation of the incoming leadership team, who will guide the club's mission over the next two years:
