     Youth who are interested in helping out in their community and learning more about the public justice system are encouraged to apply for the Oswego Youth Court training class which will be held this summer in Oswego.

     The Oswego Music Hall is proud to bring back the gifted Tracy Grammer to its stage, 8 p.m., Saturday. April 20.

     Bucking the recent tradition of one Friday night headliner on the NRG Oswego Harbor Power "Lakeview Stage" in Breitbeck Park, there will be two nationally-known groups rocking crowd on the first full day of the 26th Harborfest, Friday July 26, 2013.

     Little did SUNY Oswego senior Katharyn Christiana know it at the time, but her family's frequent trips to Disney World when she was a child would set her on a roller-coaster path to a college major and research subject she will present at the Quest on April 17.

     Come to the Lake Ontario Conference and Event Center on East First Street in Oswego for the third annual Oswego War of 1812 Symposium. Hear compelling stories about the war along the New York-Canadian border from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, April 7.

     Recently sightings of bald eagles have been reported along the Oswego River. Several have been spotted in the Minetto area starting by Gray Road to just before the Midway Drive-In.

     The H. Lee White Marine Museum is presenting a Lighthouse Movie Night at 6:30 p.m., April 25, 2013. The film to be shown is the 1936 version of "Captain January" starring Shirley Temple.

     The public is invited to come to the Lake Ontario Conference and Event Center on East First Street in Oswego for the third annual Oswego War of 1812 Symposium.

     Adult art classes at Lakeside Artisans, 191 W. First St., in Oswego, for the month of April include two watercolor painting classes.
