Plans are underway for one of the area's premier fundraising events, the Oswego Christian Community School's 8th Annual Auction. Scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, the Oswego Community Christian School's 8th Annual Auction will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Oswego Elks Lodge #271, corner of West Fifth and Bridge Streets in Oswego. The event, which serves as the school's largest fundraiser, will feature a Silent Auction and a Live Auction, as well as a bake sale and the Elks famous Chicken B-B-Q.

The Zonta Club of Oswego invites the community to its 3rd Annual Barn Sale on Saturday, June 27, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Fall Brook Barn (103 Thompson Road).

Oswego Community Christian School students are doing their part to support the school's 8th Annual Auction. Students in each grade have been busy preparing themed baskets that will be up for bid during the auction. Each basket will be filled with an array of goodies that pertain to a unique theme.
Freezin` for a Reason! Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon took the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics and now it's Oswego`s turn. Over 100 participants are signed up for the 2nd Annual Oswego Polar Plunge for Special Olympics New York and will take an icy dip into Ontario Lake on Saturday, April 5th in support of local area Special Olympics athletes.

The coldest winter in over 100-years has left the Oswego harbor locked in with over 4 feet of packed snow and ice making it impossible for participants to safely enter the water for this weekend's 3rd Annual Oswego Polar Plunge for Special Olympics.
The American Foundry will be providing the next Salvation Army Guest Chef dinner on Tuesday, April 7, 4:30 to 6:30. They will be serving chicken and biscuits, tossed salad, and bread. Members of the Advisory Board will provide desserts and beverages. The dinner will be at the Salvation Army Center for Worship and Service, 73 West Second Street, in Oswego.
The Art Association of Oswego is pleased to sponsor a workshop for creating flowers on tile using alcohol ink. The workshop will be offered by Central New York artist, Kimberly Rossiter.
The H. Lee White Maritime Museum at Oswego is proud to present our first installment of the 2015 History Lecture Series featuring Steve Wapen who will present "Officers' Duel! Camp Oswego, October 3, 1755," on Saturday, April 11th at 1:30pm. The event is free and open to the public.
