Donations of books on CD, large print books, newly released paperbacks, and local history items are always welcomed. The library's collection of Paradox yearbooks from Oswego High School and Exemplar yearbooks from Bishop Cunningham Catholic School are almost complete! Thank you to all for your donations.
On April 11, 2015, hundreds of SUNY Oswego students and community members filled Cheap Seats Sports Bar & Grill to attend the second annual For The Kids (#FTK2015) fundraiser for the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County (CAC).

These are just some of the terms that music critics are using to describe Jean Rohe's innovative ways with music and her performances, so The Oswego Music Hall is excited about bringing her and her band, The End of the World Show, to its stage and Central New York on Sat., May 9.
James Karasek was the guest of club member Sabine Ingerson recently where he spoke about the auditing process he uses at ARISE to evaluate homes of people with disabilities for needed modifications to reduce the chance of injuries and enable residents to continue living in their homes for as long as possible. Audits consist of entry ways in to the residence, hallways & doors, stairs, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and living room spaces. Mr. Karaske is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist and is also an Oswego County Legislator representing District 22. Brooklyn- based singer/songwriter guitarist Natalia Zukerman will bring her entertaining mix of rootsy styles from torch blues to country swing when she performs at The Oswego Music Hall Sat., May 30, at 7:30 p.m. "If you're a fan of Bonnie Raitt, Madeleine Peyroux, or even Amy Winehouse, you'll find stuff to connect with here," according to the Philadelphia Daily News.
The 20th Annual United Way Golf Classic is welcoming major sponsorship from strong community supporters again this year, including Burritt Motors. Participating golfers will have the chance to drive away a new car courtesy of Burritt Motors' Hole-in-One contest.
Mariachi Music filled the air as the residents of Morningstar Residential Care Center celebrated Cinco de Mayo with quesadillas and margaritas.
Bishop's Commons Enriched Living Residence in Oswego will kick off a summer-long speaker series especially for seniors with an informational forum entitled, "Understanding Advanced Care Planning", presented by local Attorney Sara E. Davis.
