Oswego County 4-H will be offering a three-session Veterinary Science program for youth.
This program will be held from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, October 28th and November 4th, and Thursday, November 12th. Two sessions will be held at the Believers Chapel North in Mexico, and one will be held at North Country Veterinary Service.
Participants will learn about different things that can affect animals both at home and/or on a farm. Session topics will include bio security, understanding medicines, and youth will visit the North Country Veterinary Services facilities.
The Oswego 4-H Vet Science Program is open to all youth ages 8-18 years old. Registration is required as space is limited. A parent or legal guardian must attend the first session on October 28th to complete and sign enrollment paperwork.
