The Oswego State men's basketball team (6-4) returned from a 13-day hiatus by extending its win streak to five with a 77-70 victory over SUNY Canton (2-9) in the second game of the Utica College Classic on Friday evening. Oswego will now face the host Pioneers (4-4) in the classic's championship game at 5 p.m. on Saturday after Utica defeated Anna Maria College (2-7) 99-73 in the opener.

The Oswego State men's basketball team dropped a back-and-forth affair 75-72 to Potsdam in Max Ziel Gymnasium on Friday night. With the loss, the Lakers fall to .500 overall (7-7) but remain one game above that mark in conference action (4-3). Potsdam is now 8-6, 3-4.
The Oswego State women's basketball team defeated Potsdam, 58-44, at home on Friday evening. With the win, the Lakers move to 5-9 overall and 2-5 in SUNYAC play, while the Bears fall to 1-12 this season and 0-7 in conference action.
The Oswego State women’s basketball team fell to Plattsburgh, 73-55, on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Lakers move to 5-10 overall and 2-6 in SUNYAC play, while the Cardinals improve to 5-9 on the season and an even 4-4 in conference action.
