The Oswego State wrestling team dropped a 28-12 contest on that road to Brockport on Wednesday night.
Oswego captured four of the nine weight classes that were contested but were not able to upend the Golden Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers garnered their first victory at 149 pounds as Rocco Russo earned a 4-2 decision in extra time.
- Later in the dual, senior classmate Jeff Lombardi picked up a sudden victory of his own at 184 pounds, matching Russo's 4-2 total.
- Russo's victory started a three-weight class run of triumphs for Oswego, with Christian Gramuglia and Trevor Hoffmier following suit.
- Gramuglia – a 157-pounder – also had a two-point decision, defeating Zack Brown 5-3.
- Rounding out the Laker points on Wednesday was the 167-pound Hoffmier with a decision. The senior shutout Jackson Bell, 2-0.
