Hair Salon Expands Gift Shop, Adds Team Members

The New Chapter of Bella Hair “Oswego”

Bella Hair is thrilled to announce their recent expansion in downtown Oswego. Located in Canal Commons, same location but the newly expanded space features a larger gift shop, more room to serve clients, and the warm, welcoming riverside atmosphere that they’ve worked so hard to create.

Oswego State volleyball wins first match, falls in second

     OS Volley BallThe Oswego State volleyball team split its games Saturday, Oct. 12, going 1-1 for the day and 1-2 in SUNYAC pool play this weekend.

     Oswego overcame an early lead by SUNY Geneseo to win its first match of the day, 3-1 (16-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-23).

     Stephanie Bailey led the team in kills with 12 while Megan Russell had 10 and Kelsey Dillon had seven.

     Lindsey Champitto and Rachel Ruggaber each had 19 assists. Ruggaber had 16 digs and Champitto had six. Meaghan Puff added 10 digs for the team.

     Morgan Lavner had two serve aces in the game.

     The team fell short in its second game of the day, losing to SUNY Plattsburgh 1-3 (26-24, 19-25, 15-25, 20-25).

     Emma Moriarty had 13 kills in the second game and Sabrina Sutton had 12.

     Lauren Edwards had 20 assists and Champitto added 16. Champitto also had one serve ace. Puff finished with two aces.

     Ruggaber had 16 digs, while Sutton had 15 and Puff had 11.

     The Lakers, now 14-11, will play again when they travel to St. John Fisher College for a 7 p.m. game Wednesday, Oct. 16.
