Mayor Thomas Gillen has declared an "Emergency Parking Ban" in the city of Oswego, effective at 6 p.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 22. Please note: This ban will be in effect until further notice.
The Emergency Parking Ban calls for no unnecessary travel on city streets and no parking on any city street until the ban is lifted.
This Emergency Parking Ban will allow the Oswego Department of Public Work crews the time necesary to clear all city streets.
The weather forecast is for 12 to 24 inches of snow to fall on the Oswego area in the next several hours.
