The Zonta Club of Oswego invites the community to its 3rd Annual Barn Sale on Saturday, June 27, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Fall Brook Barn (103 Thompson Road).

The Oswego City School District Board of Education meeting has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, Jan. 30, due to the inclement weather. The meeting will be called to order at 5 p.m. with the board moving to executive session and it is expected the public portion of the meeting will reconvene at 6 p.m. at the Education Center.
Road conditions throughout Oswego County are extremely hazardous due to heavy snow and wind conditions.
Mayor Thomas Gillen has declared an "Emergency Parking Ban" in the city of Oswego, effective at 6 p.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 22. Please note: This ban will be in effect until further notice.
The Emergency Parking Ban calls for no unnecessary travel on city streets and no parking on any city street until the ban is lifted.
This Emergency Parking Ban will allow the Oswego Department of Public Work crews the time necesary to clear all city streets.
The weather forecast is for 12 to 24 inches of snow to fall on the Oswego area in the next several hours.

Trinity Catholic School was the recipient of a painting by local artist Eileen Sprague. The 3-D painting, depicting the seasons, will be on display in the school's newly renovated library.
The Oswego Music Hall will boost the Warm Up Oswego Festival on Sat., Feb. 2 by bringing the talented singer/songwriter Cliff Eberhardt to its stage along with Nashville singer-songwriter Louise Mosrie, who will open for him.
Ontario Center for Performing Arts along with Stewart's Shops, is sponsoring a contra dance (also known as a "barn dance") on Friday, Feb. 1, at the McCrobie Civic Center, 41 Lake St., in Oswego, adjacent to Breitbeck Park overlooking Lake Ontario.
Throughout February, the Oswego Public Library Public Computing Center will provide free workshops aimed to strengthen computer skills for job seekers and small businesses.
