     The Oswego Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning has partnered with Lunar Cow Design, Inc. to create a realistic virtual magazine of two of its publications.

     Each year, the employees of Oswego County Department of Social Services (DSS) have made Christmas a little brighter for children throughout Oswego County.

     The United Way of Greater Oswego County will host its seventh annual Stone Soup Luncheon Thursday, Nov. 15, at St. Joseph's Parish Center on West First street in Oswego.

   The City of Oswego Department of Public Works has announced the Public skating schedule for 2012-13. The James P. Cullinan Rink, located at Fort Ontario, officially opened Oct. 25.

     The Oswego Music Hall is thrilled to bring Robin and Linda Williams and Their Fine Group to Oswego at 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17. Why? 

      More than 100 community members and SUNY Oswego student took the chilly plunge Saturday at Wright's Landing in Lake Ontario for the first ever Polar Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics New York. Special Olympics New York has more 55,000 athletes training and competing year-round in 22 Olympic-style sports.

Oswego Harbor Festivals, Inc. will be hosting the inaugural "Collaboration of Kindness Day" from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, in the ballroom of the McCrobie Building, 41 Lake Street adjacent to the Harborfest Offices.
