Driving Books Home runs Monday July 6th to Friday August 21st
OSWEGO, NY — Oswego Bookmobile will be hitting the road starting July 6th, for the highly anticipated Summer 2026 season. Oswego Bookmobile provides free books and STEAM activities to youth in Oswego County sharing a love for reading and learning.
Oswego bookmobile will make scheduled stops at schools and parks each week beginning Monday July 6th and ending Friday August 21th. Oswego Bookmobile’s mission is to make reading accessible and fun for all, delivering literacy resources to children and families when school is out.
Oswego Bookmobile will be driving books home to the following neighborhoods:
Mondays in Oswego: 10am-11am at Riley Elementary, 11:15am-12:15pm at Breitbeck Park, 1pm-2pm at Fort Ontario Pool, 2:15pm-3:15pm at Express Playground at Rotary Park
Tuesdays in Phoenix, Mexico and Central Square: 9:30am-10:30am at Michael A Maroun in Phoenix, 10:55-11:55 at Central Square Summer Rec at Goettel Park, 12:40pm-1:40pm at Mexico High School, 2pm-3pm at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Mexico
Wednesdays in Oswego: 10am-11am at Fitzhugh Elementary, 11:15-12:15 at Hamilton Homes, 1pm-1:30pm at Hillcrest Trailer Park, 1:35-2:05 at Hill Top Trailer Park, 2:15pm-3:15pm at Scriba Town Park
Thursdays in Fulton and Hannibal: 10am-11am at Lanigan Elementary, 11:15-12:15 at Hannibal Free Library, 1pm-2pm at Fulton Library, 2:15pm-3:15pm at Hulett Park in Fulton
Fridays in Oswego: 10am-11am at Little Lukes, 11:15-12:15 at SUNY Children's Center, 1pm-2pm at Kingsford Park, 2:15-3:15 at Oak Hill Park
The Oswego Bookmobile has expanded their route for Summer 2026 to include stops in Oswego, Fulton, Hannibal, Phoenix, Mexico, and Central Square. Families look forward to seeing the literacy staff, choosing a free book, and fun STEAM activities at the bookmobile.
