Write a commentOSWEGO, N.Y. – On Tuesday, State Senator Christopher J. Ryan (SD-50) awarded $150,000 to the City of Oswego Department of Public Works (DPW).
This funding will be used to replace 22 dock pins at the Wright’s Landing Marina, allowing the Marina to maintain the current amount of available boat slips during future boating seasons.
“The Wright’s Landing Marina is an important part of our waterfront, supporting local businesses, tourism, and recreation throughout the boating season,” said Senator Ryan. “This investment will help replace dock pins that have been broken beyond repair, ensuring slips are available to boaters in the years ahead. I’m proud to provide this funding, ensuring Oswego has the infrastructure needed to help our local economy thrive.”
The marina features a total of 241 seasonal boat slips, fit for boats up to 30 feet in length. The City of Oswego owns the marina, and offers discounted rates to City residents.

“The Wright’s Landing Marina is one of Oswego’s greatest assets, drawing residents, visitors, and boaters to our waterfront every season,” said City of Oswego Mayor Rob Corradino. “Senator Ryan’s support helps us make the critical infrastructure upgrades needed to keep this marina safe, reliable, and ready for the future. Replacing these dock pins will strengthen the economic activity that benefits our entire community. We appreciate Senator Ryan’s continued partnership and commitment to the city of Oswego.”
