
The Oswego State golf team took third place out of nine team at the Keuka College Fall Invitational on Wednesday afternoon at Lakeside Country Club. Oswego shot a 323 (+35) in the outing, trailing two squads from SUNY Delhi, the second place squad shooting a 321 and the winner scoring a 316.
Three Lakers tied for a seventh place finish, each putting an 80 on the scorecard. Senior Mike Marshall joined underclassmen Stuart Winn and Joshua Krause with a +8 round on Wednesday. Also figuring into the Lakers' cumulative total were seniors Tyler Wurzer and Dan North, who shot 83 and 84, respectively. Wurzer's finish was good for a tie for 13th place while North ended in a two-way tie for 15th out of 46 golfers.
Oswego will host its next competition, as it welcomes several colleges in for the 18th Annual Oswego State Fall Invitational at 1 p.m. on Monday at Oswego Country Club.
