The Oswego State golf team is currently in sixth place out of 12 squads at the ECAC Division III Mid-Atlantic Championship, held on Saturday morning at Ravenwood Golf Club. Oswego shot a 318 (+30), just one stroke back of Penn-State Behrend and five back of St. Lawrence University. St. John Fisher College holds the top spot with a first round 292 (+4).
Oswego was led by a pair of 77s on Saturday, one from sophomore Zachary Hiris and the other from senior captain Dan North. That pair of scores was good to place the teammates in a tie for 11th place heading into Sunday's final round.
