The Scriba Historical Society hosted Bruce Pecorella for a presentation on the FFA (Future Farmers of America) on August 11th at their annual membership meeting.
The presentation was well attended and Bruce did a wonderful job of explaining how beneficial the organization can be. He received wise counsel from those in the audience who had been members of the organization in days past. Many people are now encouraging Bruce in his endeavor to bring the FFA to his school in the future.
Bruce has been interested in this organization since around the 6th grade he said. This fall he will be entering his freshman year at Oswego High School. His father, also Bruce Pecorella, was involved in the organization in his youth and his son proudly displayed many of his fathers awards and memorabilia from that time.
