Mr. Louis was born in Oswego, NY to the late Drew and Betty (VanDusen) Louis. He has been a lifetime resident of the Fulton and Oswego, NY areas.
Mr. Louis worked with the Laborers Local #214, Oswego, NY and later retired with the Laborer’s Local #277, Syracuse, NY. He loved to hunt, fish and watch football, especially his favorite team, the LA Rams.
Mr. Louis is survived by his wife of 57 years: Mariealana B. Louis of Oswego, NY; their children: Dawn Smith of Fulton, NY and Michael (Courtney) Louis Jr., of Cato, NY; his sister: Lorraine Louis of Fulton, NY; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his siblings: Jan, Jeff, George, Kim, Toni and Connie.
A Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no Calling Hours. Burial will be held privately at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Fulton, NY. The Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. 4th St., Oswego, NY has care of the arrangements.
