On August 29th and 30th, the 8th annual golf clinic to benefit ARISE was held at Evergreen Hills Golf Course.
John Hayes, the owner of the course, has graciously hosted this event each year.
The clinic includes instruction on the first day including a lesson on golf basics by PGA Professional Dustin Jones, who is the owner and operator of the Dustin Jones Golf Academy in Whitesboro NY, and PGA Professional John Fowler, who was formerly the head pro at the Oswego Country Club.
The second day was a mini-tournament where participants had an opportunity to head out onto the course. With the assistance of the fantastic ARISE staff, gracious sponsors of the Evergreen Hills fundraiser, community volunteers, agency affiliations, and the participants, this event has grown each year and is truly a lot of fun!
