The Oswego State women's track and field team returned to action on Saturday for the Ithaca College's 2015 Bomber Invitational.
It was a record setting day of sorts for the team, as nine Lakers achieved lifetime-best performances across each of the event disciplines. Of the personal-best performances, senior Marissa Pariseau's run in the 500 was also good enough to earn a school record. Her time of 1:20.36 eclipsed her own previous record in the event by half a second. The junior's performance earned her a second-place finish and a qualifying bid for the ECAC Championships.
Other notable performances were turned in by classmate Karlee Duffer, who set a new lifetime-best in the 3,000 by nearly half a minute, taking 11th in a time of 11:14.26. Abigail Boyce, who continued to impress in the hurdles, tied her own school record of 9.79 to take seventh place. Freshman Anna Tofolo also impressed, running her way to a lifetime-best and team leading 27.89 in the 200.
The Lakers will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Brockport to take part in the Golden Eagle Run.
