Hair Salon Expands Gift Shop, Adds Team Members

The New Chapter of Bella Hair “Oswego”

Bella Hair is thrilled to announce their recent expansion in downtown Oswego. Located in Canal Commons, same location but the newly expanded space features a larger gift shop, more room to serve clients, and the warm, welcoming riverside atmosphere that they’ve worked so hard to create.

Oswego Beats Brockport on the Road

OS Swim and Dive

The visiting Oswego State men's swimming and diving team trumped Brockport in a 158-140 meet on Saturday afternoon. With the win, Oswego improves to 3-3 on the season while Brockport falls to 0-4..

The Lakers swam well in the early goings, finishing in three of the top four spots in the 1,000-yard freestyle. Sophomore James Dillon claimed second place with a final time of 10:55.62. Teammates Ross Gardner andSam Carwile ended the event with third and fourth place finishes, respectively.

Individually, Oswego dominated the butterfly and breaststroke events. Sophomore Jacob Mullett earned first-place finishes in the 100- and 200-yard breastroke events, tallying 22 points in just the two events for Oswego. Classmate Sanjay Raman led the Lakers to a first-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, providing Oswego with another 11 points.

Sophomore diver Ben Hale had a notable performance, scoring 247.70 points in the three-meter diving event. The Ballston Lake native would lead fellow divers Justin Berrios and Luke Snyder to three of the top-four point totals in the event. Berrios was scored a 227.25, good for second place, while Snyder claimed fourth and a final score of 185.70

The men's swimming and diving program will take a short hiatus before traveling to Rochester for the Monroe Community College Invite on Friday, Dec. 5. Events start at 6 p.m.
