The Oswego State women's cross country team placed 25th while the men's team finished in 16th place at the 2013 NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Championships Saturday, Nov. 16.
The race was held at Letchworth State Park in Geneseo for the fifth time since 1999 and was hosted by SUNY Geneseo.

Emily Yerdon finished first for the Lakers, coming in 90th place with a time of 23:33.1. Meghan Murphy and Katie Laris followed, coming in 122nd (23:59.0) and 123rd (24:00.9), respectively.
Sarah Popovitch came in 172nd at 24:47.9 and Katie Bott finished at 176th with a time of 24:53.8.
New York University finished in first place overall. 269 women ran in the race, coming from 38 teams.

Ryan Korzinski finished first for Oswego, coming in 76th place with a time of 26:37.7. Damian Archie finished next for the Lakers at 78th place at 26:39.1. Nick Montesano came in 84th place with a time of 26:44.2.
Kyle Gilyard finished in 100th place at 27:00.6 and Ben Sweet finished at 152nd with a time of 27:52.7.
SUNY Cortland finished in first place overall in the men's race. 275 men ran from 39 teams.
