The Oswego State field hockey team dropped a 1-0 decision to Houghton College Wednesday night, Sept. 25, at Burke Field.
With the loss, the Lakers fall to 2-3 on the season.
Priscilla Paulose took the loss in goal despite saving four shots from the Highlanders.
Houghton scored with less than 10 minutes left in the first half and was able to preserve the lead throughout the second period.
Oswego will return to action at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, for its home opener against SUNY Cortland in a SUNYAC matchup.
